BACKGROUND ON THIS CASE

Bob Coulson was arrested on November 17th, 1992, and charged with brutaly killing five (5) members of his family. Bob's Dad (Otis Coulson), Mum (Mary Coulson), elder sister (Robin Coulson Wentworth), brother-in-law (Rick Wentworth and younger sister (Sarah Coulson) were all killed. Bob proclaimed his innocence and pled NOT GUILTY. Bob denied killing his family or being involved whatsoever in the murders when he testified in his own trial for two and half (2 1/2 ) days. The case against Bob was 100% circumstantial. This is the weakest kind of case as it means there is NO direct evidence linking Bob to the nurders or the crime scene. There were NO eyewitnesses to the murders. There were NO fingerprints OR DNA evidence linking Bob to the murders or to any of the items the State claims were used in the murders.

A homicide officer testified that he talked to Bob for five (5) hours the day after the murders. Bob was wearing shorts and a workout tank-top style T-shirt. The officer said he looked Bob over from head-to-toe and DID NOT see any: burns; singed hair; bruises; cuts; scratches etc., on him. The officer said he would have expected to have seen these things on someone if they had commmitted five (5) murders of this type and then lit the crime scene on fire with gasoline.

Due mainly to the flase testimony of Bob's roommate, Jared Althaus, Bob was convicted of Capital Murder and sentenced to DEATH. Jared lied and pointed the finger at Bob after police accussed him of committing the murders. Jared gave the police four (4) different stories before Bob's arrest, so the police knew Jared was lying. The police gave Jared a lie detector test on his fourth story and he FAILED it, this is the story that sent Bob to Death Row.

The main error in Bob's appeal is 100% proof (including police reports, police photots, the police crime scene video and testimony from police officers) that police and/or prosecutors conspired to present manufactured evidencein Bob's trial in an effort to place Bob at the scene of the crime and gain a conviction. Bob will be entering the last regular appeal in this case on Dec 3, 2001. If Bob's appeal is turned down he will put in for a pardon based on newly discovered evidence.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS DOCUMENT

This document is an effort to show the world how many times Jared Althaus has lied and changed his story against Bob. Jared has given: SWORN testimony in Bob's trial; SWORN testimony in Bob's wrongful death lawsuit trial; SWORN statement to the police; SWORN statemnets in motions he filed in the wrongful death lawsuit; numerous unsworn statements to police that ended up in their reports. This document was compliled by comparing all of Jared's statements to police reports of the investigation of this case and the SWORN testimony of numerous uniterested parties called in Bob's criminal trial by the state.

People do not often believe what they can not see so this document has been put together to allow people from all over the world to "see" for themselves the lies in Jared's story, it is time the truth came out in this case, BOB IS INNOCENT.

A question or statement has been placed at the top of each example in an effort to assist the reader in what to look for in the example. The question or statement is worded to mirror Jared's story since that is what is at issue in this document. Bob denies any involvement in the murders or any knowledege the murders were going to occur. Any allegation by Jared (or anyone else) that Bob was involved is a LIE. Only one example has been placed on a page to make the document easier to read

Please read the entire document as good examples are found throughout. the document is set up int he same basic chronilogical order as Jared's story in an effort to make it easier to follow. On the surface several examples may appear to be the same but the question or statement at the top of each page will show the reader exactly what the lie is they should be looking for. Sometimes Jared: Changes his story (sworn and unsworn); is contradicted by police or other witnesses in the case; is contradicted by facts or evidence in the case.

Jared's credibility was CRITICAL to the state's case against Bob, had the jury not believed Jared they would not have been able to convict Bob. The case was a classic swearing match between Bob (denying any involvement) and Jared (claiming Bob was involved). When a person lies it is very hard for them to remember what they have said, this is the reason Jared has changed his story so many times in this case. Jared has lied since day one and has no idea what he has said before so he just makes up new answers as he goes along noping nobody will notice. Sorry Jared the world will now know what you have done.

Most of the people who read about this case (Including Bob's family and friends) assume Jared pointed the finger at Bob that Jared must be telling the truth. Hopefully this document will set the record straight on this matter once and for all. Nobody can be telling the truth and have their story change so many times. Jared Althaus is a habitual liar and this document proves it beyond doubt.
